Transition Wall Supports

A strong, stylish alternative to floor supports. These unique supports offer immediate sonic benefits - vibration and interference from the floor is neatly taken out of the equation. Construction is based on a very substantial 6mm thick steel chassis designed for use on a solid wall with 25mm solid steel arms welded directly to the chassis. 10mm safety toughened glass is used as a platform (hwd 10 x 600 x 420). Ask about possible deeper sizes. A unique cantilever design is used to ensure the glass shelf is kept secure. The glass shelf is bolted through for total safety and all glass is toughened to the top British standard of 6206A.

Spike levelling system is built in, cable management void is also incorporated, the solid kiln-dried ash hardwood cover is available in all five finishes: natural ash, natural cherry, walnut, mahogany and black ash. 5 x hardened shield anchor bolt fixings are supplied, note: these are designed for a secure fixing in a solid (brick, stone or composite block) wall and are the strongest mechanical fixing available giving excellent energy transference from the glass shelf via the carbon fibre links into the wall. There is a large laser cut cable management hole in the rear of the TWS chassis for easy routing of cables if they are intended to be buried into the walls.

We recommend the use of extra energy management products such as the Carbon Fibre Isolators under the chassis of equipment intended to be placed on the TWS. These wall supports make great projector shelves as they look great from below as well as from above.

If walls are 'dry lined' then fixings can be adapted to allow the shield anchor fixings to affix in the solid wall - this is essential for safe installation.

Transition wall support

The Transition wall support uses a pair of height adjustable M8 spikes and M6 threaded adjusters to perfectly level the shelf once mounted on the wall. Carbon Fibre interfaces are built into the shelf interface and to the steel arms to aid with filtering away damaging energy. Loading is a substantial 35kgs even load. The unique cantilever design ensures that the more the 10mm thick glass platform is loaded the more solid the contact between the interfaces enhancing the sonic performance.

Transition SE wall support

The Transition wall support Special Edition is identical to the standard version, but has extra energy management built-in by using a pair of 'Transition Connectors' to connect with the 10mm glass platform. These comprise of a Carbon Fibre core with stianless steel cappings at both ends. Loading is a substantial 35kgs max evenly distributed. All interfaces are adjustable to ensure the shelf can be made perfectly level. The unique cantilever design ensures that the more the 10mm thick glass platform is loaded the more solid the contact between the interfaces enhancing the sonic performance.

Wall support Touchlight system

This back light system fits inside the steel chassis. ‘The Touchlight’ uses a 30watt warm strip light and is touch dimmable with extra capacity for up to 200watts, if more than one wall support is used they may be accommodated by simply adding more light units to the '4-way hub'. The Touchlight provides a warm focus to your equipment and makes an attractive feature of your support and equipment in your home.

Cable management housing system

The easy way to hide those cables without having to dig trenches and attempt messy plastering.

The cable management housing consists of a 1.2 metre long box channel with removable lid. Made from extruded Upvc, with a triple compartment, the colour is light grey to match the steel chassis of the TWS. Tthe surface can also be painted (recommended to be keyed with wire wool first) or covered, overall size is (hwd) 1200 x 75 x 25mm and is easily cut into sections using a wood saw. Supplied with screw fixing kit.
