These are the words the hi-fi press used to describe the Unique range of compact disc storage units. This has been achieved by using solid kiln-dried ash hardwood with brass and steel fixings in a range of natural ash, natural cherry, walnut, mahogany and black ash. All joints are mortise and tenon so there is no chance of the uprights moving, all are machined using state-of-the-art computer controlled machines, all screws are M6 machine screws into threaded cross dowels for maximum strength and security, these peices of furniture are truly designed to last a lifetime. The CD60 is a single tower design.
Compact discs are supported by small brass pegs , these may be removed to accommodate double discs anywhere within the system.
Also available is the highly efficient Backlight which when placed behind the stand subtly illuminates the clear jewel cases - see the accessories section for more details.
All Supports are flat packed and include allen keys+spanner for ease of transport and assembly, all bushes and fittings are of the highest quality machine screw type for the strongest possible connections. For an alternative CD storage system see the unique Stem system below.
